School Purchasing FAQ


How do I get an invoice, and where should we send our PO?

If you don’t have a quote yet, you can request one in this form. When you’re ready for an invoice, please let us know and/or send your purchase order to support@wewillwrite.com.

If your school is tax-exempt, please include your tax-exemption certificate with the PO. You can use this table to determine if tax may apply when purchasing WeWillWrite in your state.

What payment methods do you support?

Invoices for school purchases can be paid by:

  • Debit, credit, or purchasing card (P-card)

  • Online ACH via Stripe checkout

  • Check (when purchasing 5+ licenses)

For an individual subscription for one teacher, please use the checkout in our portal.

If you need to use a PO for a small order: submit a quote request, then reply to the quote with how many licenses it should be updated for.

 

How do teachers get access?

After payment or submission of a PO, you’ll receive a unique activation link. Upon activating the licenses, you’ll see your dashboard with a unique invitation link to share with teachers. Check out our License Manager guide for more details.

A teacher can’t join the group. What should I do?

This typically happens when the teacher already has an active subscription through:

  • A personal license purchase

  • Existing membership in a group

Solution:

Use the troubleshooting tool on this page. If issues persist, contact us for assistance.

Troubleshoot: Joining a License Group

Are the teacher's billing settings accessible?
Does it show an active subscription?
Does that email belong to your new group's license manager?

⚠️ Action Required

Cancel your current subscription, then contact support.

Since you have an active subscription, you'll need to cancel it first. After canceling, email us at so we can enable you to join your group license.

⚠️ Check Your Invitation Link

Make sure you're using the correct link format.

Your invitation link should begin with license.wewillwrite.com/join/

If your link includes /activate/ instead, that's the manager activation link. Ask your license manager to copy the correct invite link from license.wewillwrite.com

✓ Success! You're Already In

Good news: You're already in the group and don't need to do anything else.

From now on, just use portal.wewillwrite.com to access the platform. Bookmark that link for easy access!

⚠️ You're in a Different Group

You may have joined another group (e.g., you switched schools, or your district purchased for multiple schools and shared the wrong link).

Next steps:

  1. Reach out to the email displayed in your billing settings so they can remove you from their group
  2. If you can't quickly contact them, email us at and we'll help sort it out
